WHO WE ARE

Rob Munn

 Principal Investigator

Originally from New Zealand, Rob worked with Profs. Neil McNaughton and David Bilkey at the University of Otago where he studied anxiety, feeding, and circadian rhythms in the hippocampus. In 2013 Rob moved to the Lab of Assoc. Prof. Lisa Giocomo at Stanford University where he was a postdoctoral fellow studying the mechanisms of Grid Cell formation in the entorhinal cortex. In 2020 Rob then took up an academic position at the National University of Ireland, Galway (now the University of Galway) in the discipline of Pharmacology and Therapeutics, before returning home to Otago in 2022 as a lecturer in the Department of Anatomy.
